The peristaltic pump

The continuous pumping system

To optimize integrity of microorganisms and reduce turbulence in the pumped sea water, a massive peristaltic pump has been installed at ~5 m above sea water level. The peristaltic pump is used at 30% of its capacity, giving promising continuous pumping with stable and long term use scenario. The peristaltic tube is made of EPDM and is expected to be changed every 3-4 months of use.
